Project Story
The Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre is committed to raptor conservation and education efforts in the UK. Colleagues who volunteer at the Centre introduced me to the Centre's falconry and education programs during two recent visits. It was a unique opportunity to learn more about the birds, improve technical skills in a highly challenging photography specialization, and contribute to the Centre's conservation efforts. Fees from classes and excursions fund rehabilitation efforts at the Centre. I highly encourage a visit for anyone who may be spending time in the UK.
